Evil people are not formidable and scary, but pathetic, psychotic, criminal weaklings.
Ignoring them allows them to grow stronger. Attacking them is not necessary.
Understanding how to recognize and neutralize them puts you back in the driver’s seat and evaporates the only power they have over you—your own fear and horror that anyone could be so dedicatedly evil.
The other and best response to evil people is to flourish and prosper and have fun despite their best efforts to make nothing of you. This turns the tables on them as they fear their own dark deeds coming full circle and they quake behind the guns of their paid goons, wondering when they, also, will turn on them.
